Recent Case Studies
Small and quick refurb
Completed for an elderly couple who had to move away from a bath for mobility issues. New 1400mm luxury shower tray with enclosure, shower update. The client requested she wanted more walk-in space within the room, so we’ve incorporated like-for-like Waterwall panels to marry up with existing wall tiles, which we’re looking to be kept as a client on a budget. New anti-slip click flooring to rectify any floor imperfections upon the rip out.
A full bond refurb
Walls were really running out at most angles. All feathered out to allow for ease of tile installation. Porcelanosa Carrera marble specials, free-standing bath and separate shower enclosure. Concealed toilet build allowing for the hidden cistern. All bathroom repiped. Extremely labour intensive but the finish shows that preparation is key.
General Maintenance-free update
10mm Luxury Waterwall installation, floor to ceiling, with traditional set toilet and basin with pedestal. New anti-slip LVT click flooring and shower update.
Full back to brick installation
Full back to brick installation on this challenging refurb. As soon as we started stripping out old suite, full walls coming away so a full plasterboard build followed suit. Wall to wall shower tray with 1metre 10mm fixed glass with support. New Triton electric shower running of existing 10mm cable, producing very powerful results. Full wall and floor tile. The job was a high recommend from the client’s daughter we had completed the previous month.
If you take the time to prepare, final results will always show.
7-day turnaround on a box bathroom
Customer supplied their own product. Bath out and replacement 1700mm (wall to wall) shower tray with 900mm luxury 10mm fixed glass. Victoria floor and wall tiles, with new electrical Bluetooth mirror, allowing for the finer finishes
New bathroom refurb
New bathroom refurb, with client spec being to create a more open plan space. All products supplied by #cliftontradebathrooms. Exact same wall and floor tile, with new L shape shower bath for easier movement under the new bath.
Walls very solid so a great foundation for the wall tile. Concrete board replacing old plywood, as standard, for any floor tiling. New 800mm wall hung basin and square close coupled toilet, to accentuate the contrast between line and curve.
New hardwired mirror/cupboard and popular anthracite towel radiator.
A full bathroom and en-suite refurbishment
A new concealed wall built, spanning the full width of the bathroom. At the client’s request, they wanted the ‘shower box recess’ effect, which we incorporated, both above the shower area and the toilet space. Recessed lighting to create that extra concept of light due to no external window. Ceramic mosaic sheet tile for the feature wall, giving a beautiful contrast.
New Platinum range wall hung basin with extra wall support. New standard lighted mirror/cupboard for extra storage. Great way to give that impression of more walk-in space once everything is on the floor.
A high-end bathroom installation
A beautiful contemporary mix of walls and floors, concealed toilet, basin and shower units.
The client had the bathroom installed 5 years ago and had experienced leaks hidden under the floor. This job was a full strip back, new Aqua plasterboard and concrete tile board for the flooring install. A high-end bathroom warrants expertise in the finish.
Brand new en-suite
Quite a challenging job for an en-suite. Again, new build property roughly 5 years old experiencing damp issues stemming from a small contained shower valve leak hidden behind a false wall. Client instructions to revamp en-suite completely. 1000 tiles later and we have a contemporary-traditional Victorian tile consisting of a 2 level split. Sleek but full of character. #cliftons
Pictures show the full extent of refurbishment. Client loving the new space.
New enlarged bathroom
A real labour of love. Upstairs rooms knocked through into 1 bigger bathroom volume, incorporating new boiler housing. Full polish skim plaster, traditional effect green brick tile, patterned basin unit and toilet to match. Floor mounted shower tray and separate bath with neat 4 level splashback and tiled bath panel. (Serviceable) A personal favourite. Do what you love.
A Luxury Waterwall installation
A Luxury Waterwall installation working in conjunction with #cliftons. A Carrera (maintenance-free) 11mm board right throughout, relocating original layout to room, to incorporate a fresh new showerbath. Again, a labour of love with a touch of elegance. Concrete grey Vinyl Clift flooring to compliment the marble wall. Chrome fixtures to massage in with wall design.
